Description

Newly refurbished throughout two bed apartment opposite the ski lift in Samoens. The apartment has two double bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the lounge. The bathroom has a bath and shower. There is a separate wc. The newly fitted kitchen has an oven, dishwasher, hob and fridge/freezer. There are also balconies, with spectacular views of the mountains, to the North and West of the apartment.

The village is a 5 minute walk along a tree lined avenue. There is a restaurant, boulangerie and ski and bike hire shops conveniently situated on the ground floor of the apartment block.

This spectacular and beautiful area is protected and unspoilt by tourism. The area is full of character and charm, yet still provides the centre for almost every outdoor activity imaginable.

Based in the stunning valley of the Giffre river, the area provides spectacular scenery including mountain lakes, national parks and botanical gardens. Just minutes up the road are enormous waterfalls. Samoens has a great deal to offer for families and people of all ages seeking adventure or relaxation.

There are plenty of excellent restaurants. A range of cafes and bars and numerous shops that cater for all your needs. There are typical French markets, beautiful churches, chocolatiers, health and beauty parlours, cash points, doctors, chemists, a cinema, an ice skating rink, crèche, swimming pools in summer, bakeries, supermarkets and everything else you would expect!

Summer in Samoens

Samoens offers a great selection of activities all within a few minutes walk of the village centre. The new sports centre opened in 2007, and is well equipped with a large indoor climbing wall, indoor tennis and squash courts. The surrounding area offers endless summer activities set in magnificent scenery. From June - September temperatures average between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius, so you can enjoy everything from swimming in the mountain lakes and pools, to hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking and road biking, the region offers it all!
